35mm work

this is a gathering space for my most beloved photos - all shot on 35mm film.

each roll is full of surprises and I never truly know how a photograph is going to turn out until I develop it - what I have in the meantime is trust for the process and youthful anticipation for what is contained inside the little canister. the real magic happens when the picture I see in my head is harmonious with the developed image. 

these are moments as seen through my eyes, captured and immortalized - the camera is an extension of my body, my heart, and my mind.

please, take some time to look over these photographs. they are my own memories colorized and brought to life. they serve the purpose of bringing me back to that moment, that day; though many days may have passed between now and then, the flood of emotion that passes through me as I look over them is ever present. whether it's sadness, joy, longing, hopefulness, grief, bliss, contentment- you may be able to tell for yourself or you may never know.
